The markets today ask parts in alloy aluminium always bigger.

Big parts are for me parts with weight over 25 kg.

This is a limit for manual handling. Over this limit the handling become really difficult and automate the process is a must.

In the past these parts where made in steel or cast-iron.

Today for different reasons ( manly to make the cars lighter to reduce pollution) the request of alloy parts become higher every day.

A lot of companies thought that to make everything bigger was enough.

[space]

Big press, big robot, big trimming press

[space]

But there is a problem!

If you undertake this problem you will have a not profitable company.

Il mercato  al giorno d’oggi richiede pezzi in lega di alluminio sempre più grandi.
Per me sono getti grandi quando pesano oltre i 25 chili. Questo è un limite oltre il quale la manipolazione del getto diventa difficile.
In passato questi pezzi erano in acciaio o ghisa.
Oggi per diversi motivi ( il principale è la riduzione di peso dei veicoli per le norme anti inquinamento) la richiesta di pezzi in alluminio di sempre più grandi dimensioni, cresce giorno dopo giorno.

Tante aziende pensano che basti fare tutto più grande.

Pressa grande, robot grande, trancia grande…

Ma c’è un problema!

Se sottovaluti il problema ti ritrovi un’ azienda che non ti da profitto.

Every time that I speak with a manager that want to introduce the Casting Automation system in his foundry the questions that I get are always the same.

Every time is the same ritual of questions, I feel like the house-wife at Mass.

• How long do you take to make a program?
• Do I need a specialized operator to program the machine? Do I have to employee an Engineer?
• How long to you take to use the machine?
• If I crash with the robot, does it feel it?
• If the parts are different, does the robot feel it?

Ogni volta che parlo con un imprenditore che vuole iniziare ad introdurre il sistema Casting Automation nella sua fonderia le domande che mi fa sono sempre le stesse.

Ogni volta è sempre lo stesso rito di domande sequenziali, mi sento come la  massaia che Domenica va a Messa.

• Quanto tempo ci vuole a fare un programma?
• Ci vuole un operatore specializzato per programmare la tua macchina? Devo assumere un Ingegnere?
• Quanto tempo ci vuole per imparare ad usare la macchina?
• Se vado a sbattere il robot se ne accorge?
• Se i pezzi sono diversi, il robot se ne accorge?

You can’t understand it completely just by reading my blog about how my solutions work in detail and what we do exactly to solve your problems.

So this year, my team and I have decided to organize an event, which has never been offered before.

An event that allows you to better understand my solutions and everybody who is solving the cutting and deburring problems.

Ormai è da un po’ di tempo che ti scrivo dei problemi del taglio e sbavatura di getti fusi.

Potrei continuare a spiegarti come facciamo a trovare le soluzioni per ogni applicazione.

Solo dal mio blog non puoi capire a pieno come agiscono nel dettaglio le mie soluzione e cosa facciamo nel concreto per risolvere i problemi.

Allora quest’anno, personalmente insieme al mio team abbiamo deciso di organizzare un evento mai proposto prima.

Un evento che ti permetterà di conoscere le mie soluzioni e tutte le persone che risolvono i problemi di taglio e sbavatura.

One of the things that really makes me angry is when someone asks me if I build islands.

No, in my machines there are no palm trees.

I don’t build islands …. We build machines.

This is the core of the Casting Automation System.

But let’s go step by step. When I talk about this topic I struggle to stay calm… and my speech becomes frantic.

The term robotic cell was created to define something that lives on its own. A robot surrounded by  some devices.

But there is a big problem!

Una delle cose che mi fa davvero arrabbiare é quando qualcuno mi chiede se costruisco isole.

No non c’è nessuna palma nelle mie macchine.

Non facciamo isole… Costruiamo macchine.

Questo é il fulcro del sistema casting Automation.

Ma andiamo per passi. Quando parlo di questo argomento fatico a mantenere la calma…e il mio discorso diventa frenetico.

Il termine isola robotizzata nasce per definire qualcosa che vive per conto suo. Un robot con intorno un po’ di periferiche.
