The Robotic Cutting Machine is a state-of-the-art automated solution, designed to perform precise and repeatable cutting of risers and sprues on components made of brass and aluminum.
Equipped with a high-performance band saw, the machine ensures a clean and accurate cut, minimizing burrs on the part.
Thanks to its compact structure and flexible programming, it can be easily integrated into automatic production lines or used as a standalone station. The result is a faster, more efficient, and precise process, capable of ensuring consistent quality over time and significantly reducing production waste.

Frequently Asked Questions
It is a vertical band saw, automated with a high-rigidity and very compact Cartesian robot, specifically designed for cutting sprue channels and risers on brass and bronze parts produced by gravity or low-pressure casting.
Anthropomorphic robots do not guarantee the right performance. They are not rigid enough and not sufficiently compact.
Trebi’s Cartesian robot allows for:
- Rigid and controlled movements
- Precise and consistent cuts
- Reliable cycles even on 3 shifts per day
- Much faster cycle times
- Reachability of areas impossible for the anthropomorphic robot
- Much more compact machine

The machine uses a vertical band saw blade for clean and controlled cutting of risers. The band saw blade allows reaching areas that would be unreachable by a disc blade. Additionally, this solution allows cutting very hard materials, such as bronze or lead-free brass.
It is ideal for:
- Faucets (in brass and lead-free brass)
- Hydraulic fittings (in brass or bronze)
- Water meters
- Valves and cast brass components
It accepts even complex shapes, as long as they are compatible with the machine’s working range.
Our machine offers cycle times up to 50% faster than competing solutions with anthropomorphic robots or manual cutting.
Example:
– Our machine: 20–30 seconds
– Competitors: 40–60 seconds (or more…)
Yes. We have an internally developed offline simulation software that allows for:
- Complete cycle simulation with 3D models
- Verification of clearances and trajectories
- Cycle time estimation before installation
- Optimization of cutting phases
With this software, it is possible to optimize cutting cycles and significantly reduce cycle time. Robotic machines brass: Trebi offers key tools for cost reduction.
It is a well-established and tested machine, which we have been producing for over 15 years, with dozens of active installations. Development is continuous: each version integrates mechanical, software, and functional improvements. Want to simulate the savings achievable with our robotic solutions? Go to the simulator.
This machine is standard and includes a series of options that the customer can order. Typically, only the gripping equipment and work cycle are customized.
Robotic machines brass: Trebi offers its clients extensive experience in the design, production, installation, and continuous technical support.
Certainly. The saw can work:
- As a stand-alone unit
- Integrated into a robotic cell with automatic loading
- Cycle time estimation before installation
- Within complex lines with cooling, marking, control, etc.
The machine can be ordered with the automated loading option or can be equipped with the interface at a later time
Yes. The interface is intuitive and designed for line operators. Maintenance is simple, with:
- Quick access to wear components
- Easy blade change
- Integrated diagnostics
Robotic machines brass: Trebi ensures flexibility and operational simplicity.
