In our factory we will display different solutions, such as:
- AFC200b aluminium cutting machine with disc saw
- AFC200c aluminium cutting machine with belt and disc saw.
- CDS600 cast iron cutting and deburring machine

Furthermore you can also see for the first time in Italy the ABB Force Control system working

The AFC200 machines are cutting and deburring solutions for large sized pieces, equipped with a 205 Kg robot that manipulates the piece.
If you work pieces of 700x700x500 having a weight of up to 80 Kg, then this machine is the right one for you.

On the market there is nothing more precise, fast and flexible than this.
[space]
CDS600 is the definitive cutting and deburring solution for iron cast pieces.
You can work pieces up to a 600 mm diameter and a maximum weight to 25 kg.
With this machine you have different work-units and on the cast pieces you can do multiple operations.

Everything looks perfect, but there is a problem!

Personally there are many people who are never satisfied.
I always look for solutions in which you can save money and time.
In the recent months ABB has developed a new power control system: the robot now feels the power it is generating while working.
We are taking a step towards the intelligent factory, towards the robot becoming independent.

We did some experimental tests at ABB…

But this was not enough for me!

I wanted to try to stress the system to understand its benefits and limitations.
I asked ABB if I could have a system at my plant to carry out all the necessary tests.
